I'm just an average guy from Cape Cod, MA who has a strong passion for photography. I fell in love with it around 2010, when I graduated from high school. Growing up, I always liked to mess around with cameras and take pictures for fun, but it wasn't until I got a little older that I realized how much I truly enjoy it and how relaxing it can be. But to me, it's not just relaxing, it helps me think - like "how do I want this to look?"
I have had photos displayed digitally in exhibits all around the world, including: Australia, Sweden, Turkey, Spain, France, Austria, Mexico, and France.
Normally, I shoot landscape and scenery, but have been branching out into portraits and family sessions in order to truly create something for myself.
If you made it this far, thanks for reading and I really hope you enjoy my work!
Most pictures I take, I end up being proud of and find myself wanting more wall space in order to hang it. Unfortunately, that's not always possible - so I'm hoping others will find as much happiness and joy in my work as I do - as each photo is simply just a moment in time that's frozen, with about 1000 different stories that could be told from that exact spot. I guess that's the thing with photography.
To me, portraits in the same place could have so many different stories behind them - it honestly depends on the photographer and the lighting/angles used.
I like to think that any photo I take, there will be at least one other person out there who sees it and can relate to me at the time it was taken. To me, that's part of what photography is - sharing stories and making connections without actually trying to do so. I want someone to look at one of my photos and be able to feel what the image shows, whether it be a candid/pose of someone or a landscape on a foggy day.
To be honest, I never thought I'd enjoy taking pictures of people. It wasn't until early 2020 that I decided I wanted to start learning more and expanding my skills when it came to photography. I think part of what drew me towards it was being able to help capture the "real" people in pictures, where it shows emotions and truly captures the spirit of the person - either candid or posed.
